-On the Road by Jack Kerouac (I know for a fact that this is the favorite book of one of my characters, and besides, I love Kerouac's writing)
-Gonzo by Hunter Thompson (He was one of my dad's favorite writers--about time I read some of his stuff)
-Utopia by Sir Thomas More (It was a brilliant satire, mother of all dysutopian novels, and plus, I'm a Tudor history buff)
-The rest of the TRANSMETROPOLITAN comics by Warren Eilis (because I read the first and want more)
-The rest of Alan Moore's PROMETHEA comics
-Wuthering Heights by Emily Bronte (I hate the movie, and I can't quite get into the book, but I have to read it if I'm going to rationally explain my hatred for it)
-something by Edith Wharton (it's necessary)
-Little Dorrit by Charles Dickens (LOVE the masterpiece theatre version)
-Vurt by Jeff Noon (Cyberpunk, cyberpunk, ooh, cyber-cyber-punk!)
-All of the Francesca Lia Block books I haven't read (including Ruby, Necklace of Kisses, The Hanged Man, Echo, Ecstasia, and Primavera)
-The Lord of the Rings trilogy (I've already read them, but it's been a long time. I reread The Hobbit last summer)
We'll see how much of this I get done. My mom, who's an English teacher, has also promised to go through her college lit class with me over the summer (as per my request, cuz I'm a nerd), so I may not reach my goal...

Have you read any good books lately?

I mean, I have a lot of books already started but...I can't name them all XD
But school wise, it's a lot of fun.
